Tutor
Medical student at the Temple Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Graduate of Johns Hopkins University, with a major in Behavioral Biology and a minor in Psychology. Experience tutoring in Science at the high school, college, and medical school levels. Published author who has 7 years experience tutoring in high school and college English along with college and graduate school admissions counseling.

Caleigh Roach
FOUNDER and Tutor
Graduate of Johns Hopkins University with National Neuroscience Honors and coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, and Psychology. Over 7 years of tutoring experience focused on high school and college level coursework. Additional experience in SAT/ACT, AP test prep and application writing. Certified EMT and training instructor for BLS skills and First Aid. Leadership experience working with disadvantaged and neurodiverse students.

Shuchi Sehgal
Tutor
Current 3rd year medical student who graduated from Johns Hopkins University with honors in Public Health and Natural Sciences. Previously an undergraduate teaching assistant and university hired peer instructor with 10+ years of tutoring experience in K-12, AP Courses, standardized tests, and college level courses, including Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Avid researcher in the department of radiation oncology.
With experience as students, tutors, and Hopkins graduates, we wanted to create a company that met the demands of modern day tutoring. As students, we faced the challenge of finding a tutor that fit our needs. As tutors, we experienced this same difficulty, where large online tutoring companies failed to provide adequate mechanisms to successfully match tutors to students.
Our founder
I’m Caleigh Roach. It is so nice to meet you! I started A-League Tutoring after graduating from Johns Hopkins University. As both a student and tutor, I had become kin with the the unfilled gaps in the tutoring market. I had many ideas for a tutoring platform and decided to diligently work to construct a method that ensured student academic improvement. Creating this organization became a long desired goal. By matching complementary learning and teaching styles, we at A-League Tutoring, feel that we can best set up our students for long term success. Every tutor here at A-LT is a natural leader and teacher, and we hope to spread passion and success. We welcome students from all backgrounds, skill levels, and learning needs. Our goal is to create the perfect environment for A’s.
